The parents...
Mother to this litter is Diva, our stunning Standard Poodle. A very friendly, intelligent and elegant lady, with an outstanding and interesting pedigree. Diva's father is a Champion; he was conceived by AI from a Canadian Multi Champion born in the 80s. Diva's maternal grandfather WON CRUFTS Best In Show in 2014. Diva has all priority health testing known to the breed, plus DNA tested clear for other known diseases. She has an excellent hip score of 4/5 = 9 and holds a clear BVA eye examination certificate. She has been tested for, and is clear of: DM, GM2, NEWS, OC, PRA (rcd4), prcd-PRA, vWD1.
Dad is Chester who is a stud dog not owned by ourselves. He was chosen for his lovely temperament and showing success. He is an Irish Champion and Junior Warrant. He is also health tested: hip score total 8, hips 0 and unaffected BVA eye scheme examinations.
A lovely pairing, we are very excited for this litter!
How our puppies are raised...
Our puppies are born and raised within our busy, open plan home. They experience an incredible amount of sights, sounds and handling and that early socialisation is extremely important. Puppies experience a gradual socialisation plan which includes the following (and more!): the many sounds and sights of our home, grooming, nail cutting, visitors, young children, deliveries, car travel, play and social interaction with other friendly adult dogs, they see cars and motorbikes pass by, tractors, our quad, our horse can often be seen in the field adjacent to our garden, we have garden chickens... lots of love, time, attention and positive experiences go into my puppies. They may only be with me for a short time, but it's amazing how much they experience during that time. Puppies' experiences will be logged in their puppy pack which also includes other useful information, such as feeding, training and care advice.
Our puppies are fed a mixture of foods to give them experiences of different textures and food types (e.g. raw, canned food and high quality kibble). By the time they leave the are going out into the garden multiple times a day, including after meal times, so toilet training is well underway.
We aim to take weekly individual puppy photos - this is very time consuming (but the results are adorable!) as many photos have to be taken to get a good one (puppies do not tend to stay still for long!). We also share regular snapshots on our social media.
How to express your interest...
We will be welcoming visitors from 5 weeks old, before then we can do video calls (following submission of a puppy form) and we will be sharing photos, videos and updates on social media (including our private group for Cariamora puppy owners and prospective owners).
If you are interested please submit a puppy form and we will get back to you to chat further.
